Mascara Reviews...

I only have four mascara's with me right now, so I couldn't do a full review of the container and brush of "The Max Bold Lashes" by Rimmel (which happens to be my favorite... but I do have a photo of what it looks like once it's applied to lashes.... I would also like to add that on a normal basis, I apply at least 2 coats of any mascara I use.

Let's start .. for reference, these are my natural lashes with nothing on them:

Lycra Lash Extender by Rimmel
(60% more length, 50% more curve)
Roughly $9 at a local CVS

The is quite thin, and mascara appears clumpy while on the brush.

With this particular mascara, you need to put on AT LEAST two coats. It lives up to the standards of 50% more curve, but I wasn't too satisfied with the length.
I would have to rate Lycra Lash Extender by Rimmel a high C.

Lash Accelerator Mascara
with Grow Lash Complex by Rimmel
(I haven't made any note of my lashes actually growing using this particular mascara)
Roughly $6.99 at local CVS

(Please excuse the worn out bottle)

This brush is also quite thin but looks clean and not so clumpy in comparison to the Lycra Mascara.

Again, this is two coats. It definitely makes the lashes appear longer without really clumping them up and adding too much volume. It gives sort of a natural look, it's not too bold, but you can definitely tell you're wearing mascara.

VolumeFlash Scandaleyes Mascara by Rimmel
(My personal everyday favorite!)
Roughly $8.99 at local CVS

This brush is a lot thicker than the other brushes, which I personally find easier to use and I typically get better coverage and even spreading of the lashes.

LOVE! ScandalEyes provides PERFECT coverage, and it gives good length, volume, AND curve! What more could you want from a mascara? It's perfect.

*ScandalEyes + Lash Accelerator :

This is absolutely a perfect pair! if you use the Lash Accelerator BEFORE putting on the ScandalEyes, it give you incredible volume, separation, length, and curve!

and Lastly...

Illegal Lengths Mascara w/Fiber Extensions by Maybeline
(Roughly $9 at a local CVS)

I might be the first to tell you this, but I was HIGHLY dissappointed by this mascara. When I saw the commericals for it, I thought it was going to be a make-up MUST HAVE. Sadly, I was let down. I expected extreme lenght without a messy application. This is what I got...

I'm not sure why I expected an extravagant brush, but this isn't what I was expecting.

Its VERY natural looking. I must admit, it does add a little length, but I wouldn't call it "illegal" ... It sort of looks like a sloppy quick attempt to make it look like you've put yourself together but, again, it falls VERY short from illegal length. Plus, it is a little messy to put on, and it REALLY stings if you get it in your eye.

Besides ScandalEyes, My favorite Mascara that I wasn't able to use and review at this moment is called The Max Bold Curves by Rimmel... it also costs roughly 8 Bucks at a local CVS and the results are PHENOMENAL. Here is a picture of what it looks like on lashes:

As you can tell, I'm quite partial to Rimmel products, as I've been using them essentially since I started wearing make up and have had no skin issues or serious disappointments with this brand. It is super affordable and totally delivers!

Hope this helped you guys out if you're looking to find a different reliable mascara! Feel free to leave feedback and/or a specific mascara you would like to me review! xoxo
